Holiday Gift Information

HOLIDAY GIFT INFORMATION

gift
To prevent any actual or perceived improper influence over decisions or actions, Mosaic employees must not accept money, gifts, or other services from family members or loved ones of people for whom they provide care. Employees must also decline offers of gifts, services, or favors from vendors with whom Mosaic does business or is considering doing business.

We understand that giving and receiving gifts make people feel good! We don't want to deter families or loved ones from showing their appreciation of employees in other ways like thank you cards/letters, holiday cards, or baked goods. We also do not want to discourage vendors from offering treats for everyone in the office. Mosaic's goal is to make sure the acceptance of gifts or services does not give the appearance of having inappropriate influence over the performance of employees' duties.

The Compliance Department has links below to sample letters that can be downloaded and distributed to employees or people's loved ones regarding Mosaic's policies on gifts as well as examples of gifts or items that are acceptable.  Additional guidelines regarding the acceptance of gifts or services can be found in Mosaic's Code of Conduct booklet or the Conflict of Interest Policy and the Vendor Relationships Policy and Procedure. The policies and procedure are located in the Dignity and Respect section of Policies tab on the intranet at www.mymosaicinfo.org. If you have any specific concerns or questions about this information, please contact Sarah Khalili in the Compliance Department at 877-366-7242 ext.31154.
